The Portfolio Method in the Teaching of Foreign Languages
We all want our students to become competent
users of foreign languages. What are the objectives and what can we teachers
do in order to support the learners and to keep up their initial motivation
and enthusiasm of learning a new language? And how can we make students participate
actively in the learning process? The Portfolio Method is one of the interesting
ways and tools at our disposal. But how does it actually work out, and how can
it be adapted into your classroom?
This session will be a combination of presentations, exercises and debate. It
will be held in English.
